“Alley Cat is a personification of what I would ideally like to look like. She started as a pen and paper drawing and I decided to make her into a real figure using the clay. In my stories about her she is beautiful and confident with no imperfections, or at least not afraid of any imperfections she may have. In my stories & pictures of Alley Cat, I am able to vent about real-life situations and my own thoughts. She is the first of many I plan to bring to life in 3D form.” —Zac Blenman

Zac Blenman has been creating art for 3 years, since commencing at Artmania. He has mainly created works on paper (drawing, paint markers, zines) and has recently moved into 3D works. Topics integrated into his work are drag and its history, popular culture and Western history. Blenman is a resident artist at Artmania.
