ABOUT

Tania Babic (b. 2005) is an emerging neurodivergent artist living and creating in Wadawurrung/Ballarat, specialising in two-dimensional realism drawings that feature vivid implied textural details and minimal colour. Her work captures the human condition through intricately illustrated natural lifeforms, man-made subjects, and human presences. She explores how inherent aspects of the human condition and natural world reveal insights about lifeforms and concepts. Some central areas within her exploration of the human experience include neurodiversity, perception, hardships, interconnected lifeforms, and identity. Her art is featured in national exhibitions such as the Hazelhurst Art on Paper Award and the Kedumba Drawing Award.
