ABOUT
A 20 year old emerging artist from Melbourne’s south-east, Jamie Friswell is in the early stages of his creative career. His work is defined by bold colour, dynamic shapes, and intricate patterns that draw the viewer into a vibrant visual rhythm. Experimenting across various mediums, he has found a distinct connection with fine tip acrylic paint markers, captivated by their rich pigment and the control they offer for precise, detailed expression.
Friswell’s art often brings to life a cast of imaginative ‘creatures,’ each with unique personalities and elemental qualities. This ongoing exploration of character building showcases his broad creative imagination and playful approach to storytelling through visual form. His evolving body of work reflects both curiosity and confidence, marking him as an exciting young artist to watch.
