David Smith frequently experiments with the theme of animals through his artistic practice. He has additionally explored portraiture, including self-portraiture, during his time attending DONUT Studios, developing a unique and distinctive style. His work is colourful and bold, evoking feelings of happiness and whimsy. Smith has additionally found immense joy in sharing his creations with the local community through his involvement in a collaborative mural recently completed in the centre of Bendigo.
