Based in Naarm (Melbourne), Joshua Ivankovic (he/him) is an early-career artist reconnecting with his creative practice.

His eclectic body of work demonstrates a curiosity for diverse subject matter, ranging from wildlife studies of lions, dinosaurs, and crocodiles to still-life compositions featuring fruit and botanical arrangements.

Primarily working in colour and greylead pencil on paper, Ivankovic is focused on observational drawing, colour relationships, and developing his technical skills in sketching, shading, and colour mixing.

His practice is characterised by a methodical approach to skill development. Through consistent experimentation with traditional and digital mediums, he is building a foundation for a diverse and technically proficient artistic practice.
