Cam Michael

Based in Ngambri/Ngunnawal (Canberra), Cam Michael (he/him) is a multi-disciplinary artist whose practice is shaped by his experiences of living with disability and identifying within the LGBTQI+ community.

His work is further informed by his experience as a migrant from New Zealand, exploring themes of social inclusion and the value of differing perspectives.

Michael holds a Diploma in Visual Arts and has been commissioned by the Australia Council for the Arts and Belconnen Arts Centre. In 2023, he completed an artist residency at Canberra Glassworks. In 2026, he presented a solo exhibition, 'Moments', at Jump Left.

Michael has exhibited extensively across Australia and continues to share his lived experience with depth, insight and care.
