You’re Invited: Convergence
We are thrilled to invite you to our inaugural exhibition opening celebration for CONVERGENCE: Regional Perspectives, Saturday 26 July, from 2-4pm. A free event, coinciding with Open House Melbourne.
CONVERGENCE features artists from outside major cities and who face barriers to opportunities because of where they live.
The exhibition brings together seven distinctive voices from five regional studios in Victoria and Albury-Wodonga. Their different perspectives offer fresh insights into contemporary themes and experiences.
Artists featured include Helen Butcher and Jess Madden (ArtGusto), Stella Childs (The Art Factory Albury), Housecat (Find Your Voice Collective), Stephen Hancock and Alex McKenzie (Artmania), and George Macaronis (Studio 92).
This project is proudly supported by City of Melbourne Arts Grants and Creative Victoria through the Victorian Government, and our venue partner Impact Neighbourhoods.
