Adryan Adinugraha (IND)
Mural Commission
Photography by Fred Kroh
Art et al. has commissioned Tab Space artist Adryan Adinugraha to complete a temporary mural outside Jump Left at Donkey Wheel House. Adryan travelled to Melbourne with Tab Space’s founder Imaniar Rizki and Nurul Lathifah to undertake an artist and professional development residency for a few weeks. Adryan’s mural is made with wall decals and black acrylic paint.
There is a football club in Bandung, called PERSIB which stands for Persatuan Sepakbola Indonesia Bandung. Adryan loves PERSIB since 14 years ago and since that moment he likes to draw soccer ball and PERSIB mascot, a tiger. This mural consists of three tigers, three people, 7 soccer balls, and some Adryan’s quotes about his feelings and dreams.
This project is possible with support from the Australian/Indonesia Institute at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Creative Australia, the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria and Impact Neighbourhoods.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Adryan Adinugraha
Adryan is our artist in residence and will complete a wall mural for Expanding Surrounding. Adryan, is a neurodivergent artist born in Ciamis, Indonesia, and recognised for his distinctive line work.
Encouraged by his father to become independent, Adryan grew up with a strong sense of self-reliance—he drives and even renews his driver’s license on his own. This spirit of independence also fuels his artistic drive, making him highly enthusiastic in his practice. Working primarily with brush markers, he creates bold and energetic works featuring wild animals, monsters, and human activities.
In addition to exhibiting locally, Adryan has presented his works at the National Gallery of Indonesia, in Festival Bebas Batas (2018) and NYALA – Commemoration of the Diponegoro War (2025).
