Nads

An artist based in Naarm (Melbourne), Nads practice blends surrealism, emotional inquiry and the natural world.

Working primarily with watercolour, gouache and accessible materials such as cardboard, they create intimate compositions that explore feeling, memory and embodiment.

Their ongoing emotion-card project began to say goodbye to a previous life shaped by healthcare and insufficient advocacy. Living with autism and alexithymia, Nads renders emotion through body language and environment rather than facial expression.

Nads has exhibited in group shows in Naarm (Melbourne).
